The Traffic Division's primary function is to enforce traffic laws in order to reduce traffic collisions, their resulting injuries, and to facilitate the safe and expedient flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic. The mission is to provide safe streets for the community.
The DWI Division works to increase enforcement of DWI laws and send a message to motorists who drink and drive. This unit is a dedicated DWI enforcement unit, the DWI Enforcement Team is able to concentrate its patrol efforts on apprehending drunk drivers.
The Narcotics Criminal Interdiction Division will be at the forefront on how law enforcement identifies and abates crime patterns, removes dangerous offenders, drugs, and illegal weapons from our neighborhoods, and drives down crime in our precinct.
The Environmental Crimes Division's primary goal is to combat the illegal dumping of trash, tires, liquids and other solid waste and other environmental crimes in Precinct 4. We plan on working closely with several different partners including area Constable Offices, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Texas Parks and Wildlife, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, and the Environmental Protection Agency to protect the citizens from these types of environmental crimes.
Will work closely with the Commissioner's Court and elected officials to build a much needed animal shelter for East Montgomery County. This shelter will serve the people of Precinct 4 and the animals within the precinct. Animal cruelty, neglect, and illegal exploitation of domestic, feral, and wild animals are all animal cruelty crimes and punishable by laws.
Create a Mental Health Awareness Program within the department to train our officers to handle sensitive situations that involve mentally challenged individuals in the community. I am committed to have at least one dedicated officer who is professionally trained with a specific set of skills to help the department deal with these types of situations.
